Juni 2012 - Stell dir vor, du gehst die Strasse entlang. Die Strasse ist nicht dicht bevölkert, dennoch bist du bei weitem nicht alleine. Ganz in deiner Nähe siehst du wie ein Mann einen anderen Mann ins Gesicht schlägt und ihn weiterhin bedrängt. Das Opfer ist ganz offensichtlich nicht in der Lage, sich alleine zu wehren und es droht noch mehr Gewalt. Wie lange geht es, bist du eingreifst?

2007 - Ist es nicht komisch? Zum Thema Erziehung von Kindern hat man in Büchereien die Qual der Wahl. Ob’s ums Schlafen lernen, ums Sozialisieren oder um Disziplin geht, es ist alles da was das Elternherz begehrt! …Und so verwirrend!

Um die Verwirrung der Informationsflut geht es mir aber nicht. In diesem Text jedenfalls nicht. Es geht mir darum, dass wir als Eltern (und als Gesellschaft) das Gefühl haben, unsere Kinder erziehen zu müssen.

Während der Schwangerschaft habe ich mir natürlich zum Thema Erziehung auch viele (unnötige?) Gedanken gemacht: was werde ich meiner Tochter beibringen? Was gebe ich ihr mit auf ihren Lebensweg? Wie bringe ich es ihr bei? Lebensfreude, Liebe, Toleranz und noch viele andere schöne Worte liess ich in meinem Hirn wieder und wieder abspulen.

I made a few fireshows for a boat company. The combination of a boat ride, a dinner and a fireshow at shore...at fullmoon nights! It took me a couple of them to realise the strong symbol it was. I always believed that there was a "me" that was dancing with fire and created www.firedancing.ch and another, "separate me" that discovered menstrual cups years ago and created www.afriska.ch.

I started a journey of discovering all the terrible things that were happening to Earth, to animals & to humans: deforestation, poisoning of water, climate change, endangered species, cruelty to animals, distruction of their natural habitat, overfishing, mass production of meat, genetically modified food, pesticides, toxines in our food, fast food, genocide, inquisition, rape, violence, war, slavery, circumcision, oppression, corruption, consumerism, materialism, ... just to name a few!
