I wanted more time again to do what Afriska.ch is meant to be: a site that collects as much complete information as possible, offering good quality photos & spreading the word about the great alternatives women have today.  I have closed my online shop a few weeks ago. It never gave me enough money for a living but still it took me too much time to pursue it. I wanted also more time to make girls and women sensitive about body awareness by presententing different videos that I found on internet and deeply touched me. "Happy womanhood" is the new motto of Afriska.ch and I would like to provide the information for women to actually realise that yes, womanhood is something beautiful.

So Afriska.ch turns out to be a 100% non-profit project again... and I feel very satisfied about it :o)
Especially for my male friends this is something hardly conceivable: "Why d'you spend so much time and even money to do something that doesn't bring you any money? You could earn lots of money with adds on your website and selling these products!!!".
Well... why would someone spend so much money on a hobby like playing tennis, horse riding, sky diving etc? It's not even useful for others! And why would someone else donate money to an organisation they hardly know? For myself, I find it very satisfying to invest my time and my money into a project that I have created myself and that is helpful to others. I believe that it's the small steps that change the world and I like the idea that I'm doing my part!
If there are girls and women starting to cherish their womanhood thanks to Afriska.ch, then it is well worth the effort, the time and the money :o)

I discovered Mark Boyles speech yesterday and I think he's very true in many points of his speech.
